We are having an issue with CMC since we migrated our Business Objects enterprise database from one of our old servers which has to be decommissioned as it is a Windows Server 2003 with SQL 2005 and no longer supported by Microsoft; to a new Windows Server 2008 with SQL
What has happened is our Administrator login for CMC is no longer working- giving us the attached error saying 'Logon denied: You do not have the right to logon to the application'
I don't understand why we are getting this error as the Administrator account should have full access to the application, as it did prior to the database migration.
I've also ruled out this being incorrect password as we had it blank prior to the database migration, and if we switch Crystal Reports CMC back to the old SQL server this login works.
Can you please assist us with this issue? We have done plenty of research and I think this kind of issue with CMC is rare. We also don't have any other logins we can use to get in to CMC so can't even test that
