We are working at the university on a project with sap xcelsius. besides smaller problems we are quite happy with our options.
since we are at the prototyp-stage we were wondering about performance problems with several tabs with several push-buttons.
we created an navigator-sheet with several menu-options, which are working just fine. Now our plan was to copy our first tab as often as we need and modify only slight parts of it to match our requirements.
on our tab are 6 pushbuttons which all of them active different popups when pressed. to be clear - 1 button = 1 popup
the problem now is: we put the status of that pushbutton on our navigator-sheet. so for each tab we got the same statusset.
our main question is: when does the swf export later on render its data? everytime a value of the excel file behind it changes or just when the tab is visible?
we hoped it would be the seond option otherwise we have to change the whole bindings of buttons of every tab. our goal is to have a nice dashboard with good performance since it has to run on quite low-tech personal computers.
