Hi!
This is a problem I have encountered for many years now since the times of Business Objects and have never received a clear answer on how to solve it. Many times when I try to open a file, I get the following message:
"This action cannot be completed because the other program is busy. Choose SWITCH TO to activate the busy program and correct the problem"
What I do next is to hit the button TRY AGAIN repeatedly as well as the SWITCH TO. After many tries the file finally opens. On some occasions none of this will do, so I have to close Xcelsius and try to open the file again. On other few cases I need to reboot the PC to solve the problem. It could be that Excel is ("busy") in the background but I cannot see it or find it.
I am sure I am not the only person encountering this problem. Is someone out there who has solved this?
