In my dashboard I consume data from several published WebI block. I scheduled the WebI report once a day to generate a new instance. The idea was to set getfromLatestdocumentinstance=1 in the dasboard connections to get always the data from the latest webi instance.Unfortunately that option is not very reliable.
For some reason it doesn't get the data from the latest instance, sometimes it does, but sometimes not. I didn't find any logic behind that behaviour. It seems if I change something in the data connection properties (for example set getfromLatestdocumentinstance=0, preview the dashboard, set getfromLatestdocumentinstance=1 again, preview the dashboard, then it gets the new data).
But I can't use the dashboard in my production environment for that reason.
Any ideas?
