Situation:
Two days ago, obtained an ODBC view (Machine DSN) from network admin to update from SQL server database onto an Access application that then feeds SAP spreadsheet (the Excel part of the dashboard screen) via queries.
Tried to run an .XLF with the updated queries and got many error messages. Because this did not work (after trying several things), went back to the Access application (accdb) and deleted all references to the ODBC connection.
However, my SAP .XLF, through MS Excel, tells me that someone is already logged in as Admin on my machine (meaning there is an .laccdb extension for the database).
Now my previously-working dashboard does not work AT ALL.
Is there anyone here who can help me get back the functionality of the .xlf?
I have a backup copy from a week ago but would like to retrieve the XLF that worked, or to get in and delete the references to an external data source that are causing the problem.
Look forward to any help.
