I have recently inherited a dashboard with about 8 pages, which are all separate containers with dynamic visibility driven by a label based menu. I have been told this is better than a tab set, although I'm not sure why.
However, this makes the dashboard very difficult to edit as there are 8 screens overlaid, so I have to switch off all the other layers' visibility in the object browser. This does not seem like an efficient or pleasant way to edit multiple screens.
What is the best way to manage a large dashboard with multiple pages? Is there a way to create them as separate xlf files and then join them together at the end into one swf?
