I have been working with an Xcelsius file for a while and it had been working 1000% fine. I can also get prior versions of my dashboard to run just fine on my machine. However, when I try to load this particular (and most updated) copy of my dashboard, I first get the error that Microsoft Excel is busy (even thought I already closed via the Task Manager) and then after pressing Retry a few times, get the error that "Could not connect to Microsoft Excel. To prevent further data corruption, the program must close.". I am not doing anything fancy here, just really basic 'point to a cell and put it on a graph' stuff.
I have purchased a full version of Xcelsius, run the 'repair' option to make sure this wasn't an install issue and still am getting this error. I have also disabled all Excel add-ins. This is not the first time this has happened to me. I need a stable program that will not lose a day's work at random. Please help me understand what might be the root cause of this issue. Thanks!
