Special characters not getting passed from Parent to child Dashboard using flash variables in SAP BO Dashboard Designer 4.1

Hi,

I am facing issue while passing parameters from parent dashboard to child dashboard using flash variables in SAP BO Dashboard Designer 4.1.The logic works fine for values without any special characters. It fails for the values with special characters i.e "&","#" etc.If the value is "Smart Account & User" only the "Smart Account" is getting passed to the child dashboard. Can someone please help me with the solution for this?

Any lead would be highly appreciated.
