Score card Component column - Formatting

I am using a score card component in my dashboard.

It has one of the column which has to display some text data coming from DB and that text data is of 300 characters in length.

so now that column in dashboard should be formatted such away that i need to fit that data in that column in 3-4 lines.This should be done for the entire column.as every row in that column will have same length of data.also the requirement says that none of the characters should be cutoff.

So any body know how to do it please let me know the step by step approach.
