4.1 line chart - cannot plot multiple series from query browser results

Hi All:

  I am using dahsboards 4.1 (Sp5) and trying to plot the following data using the query browser against an OLAP data source. I am wishing to generate a LINE chart that shows BE DESC as my series, ClaimCount on the Y axis and DIM_PAIDDATE on the X axis. 

Any examples I have seen bind to excel but the data in such cases the data is already in a pivot format.  My query will only let me insert my measure (ClaimCount) into the spreadsheet and not the dimensions.   I'm new to BO. Is there something I am missing?
