Dear guru
I'm working on sap business object dashboard using universe and curious on how the dashboard calculates the forluma and download data from server. I did test 2 scenarios:
1. Launch the dashboard on iPad and;
2. Launch dashboard on web.
I bet you guys the the time consumption result, open the report on web is quite faster than on iPad.
The dashboard is running on website, server retrieves the database, Univers works on business layer, then project up on website (webpage is just a screen, calculation is made on server). On iPad, the device downloads data from server then calculation excel formulas on device.
Could you please correct me if I was wrong.
If my premise is correct, move the excel formula from dashboard to universe can make the report running faster? or I should spend more work on database rather universe and dashboard to fine-tune report open time consumption.
