We have around 20 executives who use dashboards daily for analysis. In order to improve the performance of the dashboards , I was checking the dashboards cache server properties. The cache server timeout is specified as 60 minutes and the cache size is 256000 KB. As per my understanding after 60minutes, cache memory would be wiped out and again the memory needs to be filled with data in order to make use of caching.
1. Can I increase the cache memory timeout to 360minutes , so that users can utilize the cached data for long time say 6hours? What are the consequences if I increase the time?
2. How do I check the size of the filled in Cache?Just wanted to know how much sized data is getting filled in 6 hrs time.
