We are testing the new feature in 4.1 i.e. support for QaaWS connection in Mobile devices.
Dashboard Designer version is BO 4.1 SP2 Patch 1
BO Server also BO 4.1 SP2 patch 1
Scenario:
Webi Report Block --- Web Service ---- WebService used as QaaWS connection in Dashboard Designer (note: Qaaws connection supported for mobile devices)
Desktop Preview - Prompts for user logon (as expected) and after providing user login details the dashboard is working.
Mobile Preview - Dashboard Designer is not prompting for logon screen and I am getting the error "Enterprise authentication could not log you on. Please make sure your logon information is not empty." Same issue in Ipad as well.
But If I hard code the username and password then the dashboard is working in mobile preview and Ipad as well. Looks like username and password is defaulted to blank values.
Is it something missing in Mobile Server?
Please let me know if you have tested Mobile dashboards based on QaaWS connection in BO 4.1.
