I'm new to this forum. Would be of great help if someone could answer my question on creating custom components for Xcelsius 2008.
After reading through various discussion forums, I got to know that Flex builder 2.0.1 has been decommissioned by Adobe.
Currently we are using Xcelsius 2008 (Business Objects 3.1) version for our dashboards.
I would like to create custom components and add that to Xcelsius 2008 version using Add-On Manager.
When I requested for Adobe Flex Builder, Adobe vendors came back saying Flash Builder 4.5 is the latest version and Flex Builder is decommissioned. In few forums it is mentioned that, components created using Flash Builder is not compatible with Xcelsius 2008 and it is purely for BO 4.0 Dashboards.
If anyone has already worked on Flex Builder and Flash Builder, can you please guide me as to what version of the software exactly is needed to create custom components for Xcelsius 2008? Or is there no way that Adobe supports developers who still want to create components for their Xcelsius 2008 dashboards?
