Hi,
Everyday I need to update the xcelsius files and export to flash files and upload in sharepoint for others to view the data. The data comes from different sources, so bacially use the Excel files to bring all the data and all the manipulations are done and the final data set, copied to xcelsius files and refresh, saved and exported to HTML/flash files.
Two months started learning and pretty new to Xcelsius. I learned through some of the forum that the excel data I copy to xcelsius can be exported via XML and pretty much worked with XML data and got it worked from the XML files I generated using the Preview XML.
Now I am trying to generate the XML file from Excel without copying to Xcelsius so that everyday after I update the Excel I could make XML files and upload in the sharepoint without opening the Xcelsius and exporting to sharepoint. When I generate the XML file from excel, I double check to stay with the same format as the file generated from preview xml and overwrite the same file. This way my data are not getting published and dashboard shows all zero values.
Where am I going wrong in this process, why my excel generated XML file is not accepted by Xcelsius. Please help me with your expertise.
