We have recently upgraded to BI 4.1 SP3 and noticing erratic behavior in Dashboards that use the excel formula for =date. The formula does not work in some cases and so queries dependent on the formula are incorrect.

The formula should return this date, but in runtime it is not returning the current date, instead it returns the last date the dashboard was
saved. This is the formula in the dashboard =DATE(YEAR(TODAY()),MONTH(TODAY()),DAY(TODAY()))
It is happening to some, not all dashboards and is impacting management's confidence in our analytics.
Attached the screenshot where the date is 'stuck' on the last saved date and should be the result of this formula, or 07/10/14.
If I save the dashboard again to the platform, the date in runtime will be 07/10/2014, but will be stuck on this date tomorrow...
I realize this sounds crazy, but has anyone dealt with this?
BTW, the BOE server has 64GB and the client and server versions are the same level.
I have tried restarting the BOE server and clearing out the field in the worksheet and re-entering the formula
