Help needed!!! Unusual cell editing problem in the Excel Formula bar

I got a very unusual problem with cell editing

example:

If I enter following values in the cells  A1 - 1, A2 - 2, A3 - 3 then if I select cell A1 and I see value 1 in the cell (same as i entered), however if I click in the formula bar (or press F2) the value in the formula bar immediately changes to the last value I have entered in the last cell (in this case the value changes to 3 from cell A3) See my screenshots for illustration.

Does anyone experienced this before? Is it some sort of setting (I couldn't find any)

I'm using Windows 8 operating system with 32 bit Excel and SAP BusinessObjects Dashboards 4.1 version 14.1.1.1036
