BEx prompts in BI dashboard4.0

Hi all,

   We have noticed few things in BI dashboard4.0 when using BICS connectivity. We are using Dashboards SP05 patch1. I verified the same in DashboardsSP05 patch7 version as well.

1. We cannot use BEx variables and Xcelsius Query panel filters together - This will not allow us to use Combo boxes with user friendly labels and BEx prompts in the same query.
2. The BEx variables get disabled when BEx hierarchy prompts are added in the BEx query. Why are the BEx variables getting disabled when we add BEx hierarchy variables?  Since both prompts are coming from BEx aren’t they supposed to be enabled for query prompt selection?

Is there a plan to make these features available in future dashboard release?
