Adding 'All' in query prompts in SAP Dashboards.

Hi,

Here's a quick and easy way to add 'All' in query prompts in SAP BusinessObjects dashboards.

Environment: SAP BusinessObjects Dashboards 4.1 SP 2

I start by creating a combo box with 2 columns, one for the 'Display value' and one for the 'Prompt value'. B3 is empty and this is important for the solution.

Next you set the prompt to an 'Optional prompt' under the 'Edit Prompt' values to allow for the blank value to be send to the prompt when running the query.

Lastly you map the prompt to the destination of the combo box:
