Hello, I have a query about supply and demand chart. I want to create a column chart for supply and demand by month. I can plot only one row how to plor second row so that it show two bars in each month? and there is data in both buckets.

I have an Xcelsius model with Live Office connections which will be posted on an intranet site external to BO Enterprise, and I'd like to bypass the authentication so that the user does not have to enter credentials. It is my understanding this can be done by passing a logon token from a JSP (or .net) page. I am using the following code, and I believe I'm really close to getting this to work, however I currently get an error when the dashboard loads : <br><br>

I'm facing a problem with SAP Business Objects Dashboards. I have a document with a Liveoffice connection and when I try to preview my dashboard, I get an error - Failed to parse XML. (LO26005) (LO 26000)
I've made some research and it seems that the LiveOffice version is different from the Business Objects Web Service.
I've checked the version of LiveOffice, Dashboards and Web Service and they all seem to be the same:

Drilling Down on any thing with the help of a Hidden Combo Box. This Document is particularly for beginners and learners.
Just follow the screen shots below and achieve the drill on any chart. In this example the Column chart is drilled and
the output appears in the stacked column chart below.
This example shows the category wise profit , and on clicking the particular category the profit made by products
in that particular category are stacked up which is shown in the stacked chart.
And that completes the drill down in a chart. The .swf file and the .xlf are attached herewith. Change the extension .txt to .xlf and .swf for the respective versions.

2. Why we should go with BO as against other NOn sap product.

I have the following trouble, i need to connect a dashbboard to an ESSBASE based UNX, however when i try to make the query in the query browser i get the message:

the required Essbase client Jars were not found:
ess_japi.jar; ess_es_server.jar; ojdl.jar, please check your configuration
classpath.>
I reviewed the classpath in the tomcat console on JAVA options and put the path to those JAR's but it still does not work.

Hello, I have a question about combo boxes or selecters. I have data in different categories so i want some thing like this. The first combo box will show all the categories then when user click on one of the category then the second combo box would show only it's sub categories and third will show what was selected in second combo box but i don't know how to get it done. any idea? also the data i have is about 2,000 rows. would it work like this?

I have a dashboard that uses BI Web Services connections, for Webi report blocks. (there are 9 connections).
The Dashboard has a Connection refresh button, with all the 9 connections and the button beaviour is set to Refresh After Components are loaded.
As a test I refresh the webi report and save it and the load the dashboard (either via PDF or XML) . The dashboard does not reflect the new data, immediately, it takes about half an hour, with continuos reloading, when the new data appears.
Q1 Why should this take so long ?
Q2 Is there a way to refresh the Dashboard to take the latest data in the Webi report ?

Is it possible to passing values from dashboard to dashboard based on LiveOffice report.
we have a live office report with prompt StartDate and EndDate.
we'd like to have one dashboard report which just contains two calendars, one for startDate with a label text to show startDate, and the other for endDate with a label text to show endDate. This dashboard will pass these two paramaters(values) to the second dashboard.
The second dashboard contains a combined column chart. The combined column chart will change according to the passing two dates values from the first dashboard.
Report is based on LiveOffice.

Hi, sorry I am new to the dashboard designer. Can anyone point me towards the right direction for some additional components for dashbaord designer please? I am idially after some components that works on mobile platforms (ipad and andriod SAP mobile app). I am mostly after the free once right now (to demonstrate the business what can be achived). Also can someone explain the installation process of those components - Whether i only need to have it installed on the machine I am using the designer or does that component needs to be installed on server as well so the customers can lunch the dashboard via launch pad. Hi: I have deployed a Windows 64bit crystal reports server. I is working fine. However, when I tried to install
Dashboards 4.1 (which is 32bit), crystal server stopped working.
I took the default directories during the install, and I guess the 32 and 64bit stuff got mixed up.
So I have sheduled a system restore from backup.
Is there a 64bit version of Dashboards. If not, is it best to install Dashboards on a separate
virtual machine. I can imagine that having 2 business object environments on one
vm could be quite messy.

I searched on net about BW, what I found is BW is originally called as SAP BIW then SAP BW and now its SAP BI.
But what I want is I want to know how to create dashboard from BW query.
my client dont have BO, universe or WebI.
I also want to know if we can connect with BW query, where to published Dashboard. as if I am not wrong Infoview is also part of BO and we dont have Infoview as well for publish Dasdhboard and Crystal.
Also without infoview how to link Dashboard with Crystal Report. from URL button on dashboard we need to open/published Crystal Report.

Is there anywhere I can obtain a trial copy of Xcelsius which will work on Windows 7 & Office 2010?
I can see here that SP4 resolved this issue on the full version of the software (confirmed by installing the paid for version on another user's machine). However, I need to install the trial somewhere and the trial software provided does not appear to work (it seems to think Excel isn't installed, likely due to looking for the program in the wrong directory).

We are testing the new feature in 4.1 i.e. support for QaaWS connection in Mobile devices.
Dashboard Designer version is BO 4.1 SP2 Patch 1
BO Server also BO 4.1 SP2 patch 1
Scenario:
Webi Report Block --- Web Service ---- WebService used as QaaWS connection in Dashboard Designer (note: Qaaws connection supported for mobile devices)
Desktop Preview - Prompts for user logon (as expected) and after providing user login details the dashboard is working.
Mobile Preview - Dashboard Designer is not prompting for logon screen and I am getting the error "Enterprise authentication could not log you on. Please make sure your logon information is not empty." Same issue in Ipad as well.
But If I hard code the username and password then the dashboard is working in mobile preview and Ipad as well. Looks like username and password is defaulted to blank values.
Is it something missing in Mobile Server?
Please let me know if you have tested Mobile dashboards based on QaaWS connection in BO 4.1.
